South Wind Knows (2023)

Botanist Fu Yun Shen and Zhu Jiu, a member of Doctors Without Borders, embark on a journey to underdeveloped regions to offer humanitarian relief while searching for a special medicinal plant. Fu Yun Shen intends to develop medicine with the plant, while his half-brother Fu Xi Zhou seeks to maximize profits by turning it into a series of Chinese herbal cosmetics. When Fu Yun Shen is seriously injured in a car crash, the drug development comes to an abrupt halt, resulting in misunderstandings between him and Zhu Jiu. However, after half a year, the couple eventually overcomes their hardships and are on the brink of getting married. But when Zhu Jiu discovers clues about the death of her parents, the grievances of the previous generation put their relationship in danger. With their wedding date looming, Fu Yun Shen is determined to protect their hard-earned romance.
