So Ji-Sub is set to lead in the Netflix drama series “Mercy for None.” The show boasts a star-studded supporting cast including Heo Jun-Ho, Ahn Kil-Kang, Lee Beom-Soo, Gong Myung, Choo Yeong-Woo, Jo Han-Chul, and special appearances by Cha Seung-Won and Lee Joon-Hyuk. The series is adapted from the webcomic “Gwangjang” by Oh Se-Hyeong and marks So Ji-Sub’s return to the noir action genre, reminiscent of his 2012 film “A Company Man.”

“Mercy for None” is expected to stream on Netflix next year. The plot revolves around Nam Ki-Joon (So Ji-Sub), a former member of the Bongsan Gang led by Gu Bong-San (Ahn Kil-Kang). He left the gang after violent confrontations led them to become a major corporation. However, when his younger brother Nam Ki-Seok (Lee Joon-Hyuk) joins the rival Joowoon Gang, it sets off a chain of events. Nam Ki-Joon is forced to return to the gang world he left behind to uncover the truth behind his brother’s death and seek revenge.
