Doo Na, a member of the girl group Dream Sweet, suddenly left the group one day and end up living in the same share house as Won Jun, a college student. Doo Na mistake him for being her sasaeng fan, and Won Jun does not know who she is. They become curious about each other.

  1. i think the drama was pretty ok… suzy was beautiful ofc in all scenes (as expected!) but can we mention the kissing scenes??? man was hungry fr. overall i think it was cute and worth a watch if you having nothing else to do. but i will say that if you don’t enjoy sadish endings then probably don’t watch it.

  2. I really liked the story. However, for the life of me, I just could not like Doona and the Bae Suzy playing her. Her acting is lacking at best. She has an emotional range of a rock. Her playing Doona is just not believable to me despite the fact the she was basically Miss A.

  5. they messed up the ending ngl but overall was a decent show. I love the FL – suzy hence watched this. There were some sweet moments b\w the leads and the supporting actors were good too. But still the ending made me frustated as I waited for this drama

  6. Worth the watch, if that is what you are looking through the comments first for. It’s not fast pace nor is it too slow, it moves along a a steady pace. It’s nothing epic but also not too mundane. It can be funny and tender at times but also heart wrenching and frustrating at others.

This is the most terrible kdrama I have ever seen, I do not recommend it if you are like me, I hate to see a woman suffering for someone who also loves her and they both suffer unnecessarily, I understand that that is the goal of this kdrama but emotionally that is devastating In the end they achieve their reconciliation but it is understood that they cannot be a normal couple and must keep their relationship hidden from Donna’s company, the press and the public…

  13. I was really really excited about this drama ever since i saw the news! I’m not sure for others but for me, the starting was really bored… The middle was starting to catch my attention but about ep 5 onwards, i lost my interest… Too boring and a little draggy for me… Maybe this is just not my type of drama 🙁 I still watch it for Yang Se Jong and Suzy :((( Just a little disappointed!

  16. This show was actually not very good and why was it named Doona when in reality it was about the ML. The male lead portrayed as a wimp who couldn’t commit to anything in life. He made the show unbearable and was the same character with no development all the way to the end. All the other actors evolved by the last show accept him. I give a 4 out of 10. The director did a poor job with this show. The art style slow development is fine if you actually develop the character that will interest an audience.

  18. I was happy, I was sad, I was crying, I was happy again. The emotional roll coaster of this drama had me binge watching the entire thing in one go. The ending I am going to believe that they are making it work somehow. Each are their own persons now, career, outlook on life, more mature, so a more mature realistic healthy relationship within the boundaries of their respective selves, cause that’s the only ending I will be able to move on from…

  19. i managed to watch 3 ep it’s well made well acted but it felt boring , the ep was just 44 min and i felt it was 2h , the pace too slow for my liking , i like suzy but she look unhealthily skinny , i thought she had some illness maybe in the drama
    i jumped to last 2 ep same slow paced eps and i didnt like the ending not even a bit
    i would’ve like it if it was a movie i like such plot it had some poetic elements
    maybe it got better after ep 3 i dont know

  22. So Doona mentioned before they break up (while they go dinner together),
    the agency will be hold her tight only around 2 years, if her career
    run smooth, her personal life wouldnt be any prob.
    so here my theory, the reason why Doona rush to Won Joon room cause she want badly to go back in relationship with Won Joon, and Won Joon realise something that
    leting her go only make his life misrelable and tormented, cause he can
    see her in every where, poster or any billboard in his neighborhood.
    this time Won Joon that have to say sorry , but back then Doona, and Won
    Joon forgive her (eps 7) and make some promise for Doona sake in case
    if everything go awful. I think Doona using her coupon from Won Joon
    this time, and set back everything, cause Won Joon said ” It has to be
    you for me too”, the different is everything from now wouldn’t be go
    easy like Won Joon think before, Won Joon learn something just like Doona back then, learn that person he didn’t wanna loose is Doona.

    soo.. Happy ending!

  23. I stopped after episode 5, if you wanna watch it and you only like happy endings, do the same.

    They are two very different people do I’m not surprised about the spoilers of the ending, just isn’t good enough to watch a “they split but are happy” drama.

I gotta say about the ending: I know people will complain but from really early it should be easy to tell that the main lead would have no successful relationships with any of the girls, they are people that needed to find themselves through him sadly he had to learn that the hard way. It wasn’t a horrible show tho, it’s realistic to be fair something that more people need to understand in life.

  27. After reading some comments I realized I want to continue living in a dream world when it comes to entertainment.
    Real life is enough for me to giving me a reality check.
    so skipping this one as what the use of even watching their story when they don’t even end up together
    This is just my perspective, but I think movies are a better option for such type of stories.

  28. Anna – Doona – … What’s next? Mona? Gina? Whatever -na is, I’ll sure be watching. I like the role switch. Typically and mostly, it’s the male lead who is “broken and popular” (or powerful and rich) falling for a bright and innocent female lead.

  46. are we not gonna accept the fact that someone intentionally chose thumbnails with same faces with same poses? xD Even the title seems sus, “The girl downstairs…is it fate?” lmaoo. (Ofc they are not the same, but I think someone tried to show us the continuity that can be formed with their placements xD and also how, now that I feel–these two could be both main characters of past and present of a same story–and how it could actually be a sequel…i’m just reeling off xD)
